More than 11 billion hryvnias from the customs clearance of “eurobliakhs" have already come to the budget and will be allocated for the indexation of pensions - President

President Petro Poroshenko during the working visit to Ivano-Frankivsk region emphasized that the state should do everything to support the most vulnerable groups of population, in particular pensioners. He noted that all possible tools were used for that purpose.
As an example, the Head of State mentioned the decision to allocate funds from the customs clearance of the so-called "eurobliakhs" to the Pension Fund, which makes it possible to index pensions.
The President recalled the difficulties with the issue of customs clearance of cars on European license numbers imported in Ukraine in violation of customs and tax legislation. "We were told: you will not even get a billion. No one will do the customs clearance," he said.
"Do you know what the situation is right now? Already more than 200 thousand cars have been customs-cleared and the Pension Fund has received 11 billion hryvnias as of now. This is how the work must be done," the President noted.
"And now I ask you: how do we need to use these 11 billion of the Pension Fund? For indexation of pensions ... of those who have the smallest pensions, at the minimum level," Petro Poroshenko stated.
