"Village outpatient clinics are not the only state contribution to the development of rural areas. I will initiate the allocation of 3 billion hryvnias next year for connecting rural schools to the Internet, for modernizing hub schools, for purchasing school buses," the President said during the work of the Regional Development Council.
"If we provide the Internet for telemedicine in rural medicine, it"s obvious that the village council and school should definitely have the high-speed Internet," he added.
The President also stressed the importance of increasing the subvention for inclusive education. "I insist on increasing the subvention for inclusive education up to one billion hryvnias. Because we started solving problems of inclusive education only in the last 3-4 years. Before that, these children, who are equal members of society, were set adrift. And today, the government finally cares about the problems of barrier elimination, cares about the peculiarities of education. And of course, we must ensure the continuation of this course. This amount will almost double in comparison with the current year," Petro Poroshenko noted.
