Ukraine, NATO take stock of cooperation in first half 2008

A meeting
of the Military Committee Ukraine-NATO at the level of chiefs of general staffs
was held at the NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
The
Ukrainian delegation was led by Chief of General Staff, Ukraine"s Armed Forces
Commander-in-Chief Serhiy Kyrychenko.
The meeting
participants took stock on fulfillment of actions within the Working Plan of
the Military Committee Ukraine-NATO in the first half of 2008, the Defense
Ministry press-service reported.
S. Kyrychenko familiarized the participants with measures
meant for improvement of a combat training of Ukraine"s Armed Forces units,
development the tactical activities simulation modeling system and use of the
laser shoot simulation system.
Ukraine
continues to back the Alliance participating in all the NATO-led operations.
