We must ensure full and timely implementation of the Program Economic Reforms, Valeriy Khoroshkovskyi
Ministries
and departments should ensure full and timely implementation of the program of
economic reforms for 2010-2014. This was announced by First vice Prime Minister
of Ukraine Valeriy Khoroshkovskyi
while a Government sitting which took place on May 17, 2012.
In his
speech, the First Vice-Premier noted that during the current year, the
Government has focused its main efforts on the continuation systemic reforms
have started by President of Ukraine in 2010: fiscal, tax, regulatory,
administrative, reforms in the construction industry, health care and
education, reforms on social benefits and more. The main goal of these measures
should be facilitating of doing business, creating favourable
conditions for fair and high quality competition, the investments inflow and
modernization of the economy, boost economic growth, increasing incomes, the
provision of quality education, culture, health care
services to citizens.
"The
analysis of performed work for March-April shows that the National Action Plan
for 2012 to implement the Program of economic reforms for 2010-2014 is carried
out slowly and not fully. It seems that not all responsible executors
understood the relevance of this matter and didn"t provide the necessary
performance and quality in its work," Valeriy Khoroshkovskyi declared.
"The
reason of such a situation – is the lack of systematic work, and sometimes
formal and irresponsible approach to work," First vice Prime Minister
stated.
He stressed
the introduction of systematic work is a key condition for high quality and
timely implementation of the plans. "If every executor of an action has
its own schedule of the tasks, we will have no such a poor effectiveness in
work that reduce the effectiveness of collaboration and hinder fast and a qualitative
transformations in the economy and society," said Valeriy
Khoroshkovskyi.
He also
emphasized the introduction of personal executor responsibility for the
assigned works would help increase executive discipline.
