In Ukraine,
according to Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Gryshchenko, there are many practical areas of sectoral cooperation with the European Union, which are
successfully being carried out according to agreed plans. At the same time for
Ukraine"s foreign policy, there are many other areas are important to achieve
real progress in our country’s economic development. This was emphasized by Kostiantyn Gryshchenko during a briefing at the Government House on
May 17.
"These
matters were discussed during my visits to the countries of Latin America. We
continue to cooperate with China, India. We are prepared to high level visits
to these countries and I would like to point that along with the overall growth
of Ukrainian exports, the share of exports that goes beyond the traditional
centers of our economic cooperation (the EU, Russia, developed countries),
those states that currently breaking to forefront of economic development, their
share constantly expands, consequently we pay attention them more and
more," said the Minister.
In the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, recalled Kostiantyn Gryshchenko, the Council of Exporters has been established
and successfully operates. This work is with those Ukrainian corporations and
companies that are willing, able and have serious resource to entry into
international markets. "Regarding this issue – Ukraine’s export potential
strengthening - particular importance is being paid by the Cabinet of Ministers
in a whole, personally Prime Minister, as evidenced by his visit to Qatar.
Therefore, we continue to consider the EU as the main priority, but realize
that to achieve that level of economic development, which allows be fully
integrated into the EU, we need to actively work in all markets where it is
possible to promote our products," the Foreign Ministry Head noted.
