Maryna Poroshenko visited the treasury of Ukrainian identity in the USA - Ukrainian museum and library in Stamford

As part of the working visit of the President of Ukraine to the United States aimed to attend the 73rd General Assembly of the United Nations, President’s wife Maryna Poroshenko visited the largest treasury of Ukrainian identity in the US - Ukrainian museum and library in Stamford.
This is the oldest cultural institution founded by the Ukrainian community in North America. The museum"s funds and libraries consist of collections of fine art, items of Christian religious worship, folk art, books, manuscripts, archival documents and vintage photographs that reflect Ukrainian rites, traditions and daily graft.
According to Maryna Poroshenko, the Ukrainian museum and library in Stamford preserve the historical and cultural heritage of our people outside of Ukraine. "Being here, I see that this cultural institution was created and supported by people who love Ukraine, respect their people and value Ukrainian history and art," she said.
Also, the President"s wife met with young Ukrainians - pupils of the Ukrainian kindergarten in Stamford. In memory of the meeting, Maryna Poroshenko presented children Ukrainian preschool books and brain games.
