Prime Minister at the Forum #One Voice: Proper public's understanding of how the reforms work will enable us to build a new country in one year

An effective establishment of the governmental
communications as well as giving citizens a clearer picture of the very core of
Government’s decisions are fundamental tasks, the implementation of
which will enable us to build a new country in one year. This was stated by Prime
Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman
in the course of the First All-Ukrainian Forum of specialists in the sphere of
governmental communications # One Voice.
The event was organized by Information and Communication Department of the
Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine headed by Dmytro Stoliarchuk. This meeting brought together 200
heads of press services and communication departments of central executive and
local authorities from all regions of the country.
«Communications are of utmost importance, thereby it is crucial to talk about
reforms correctly. It is a great initiative to hold this Forum. We work for the
benefits of citizens and we must inform them about the essence of our
decisions. I always say: 226 votes (in the Parliament) as well as effective
communications (in terms of informing people) will allow to build a new country
in one year», stressed the Prime Minister.
Background
The Government"s communicational strategy “One
Voice” was implemented in the
fall of 2016 by the team of Information and Communication Department of the
Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. "One Voice"
united efforts of communication departments of ministries and other central
executive authorities in order to inform the public about the importance of the
reforms which are being kicked off by the Government. The strategy is used in several
directions at once: coordination of activities of communication department of
ministries and authorities, joint information and communication campaigns aimed
at clarifying and promoting government reforms, trainings and workshops seek to
upgrade skills of specialists of press services and communication departments
of executive authorities.
